Services available at Cork Children’s Clinic.

Last year we welcomed a few new practitioners to our clinic. We really feel it is now becoming the centre we had wanted it to be when we moved here 3 years ago. Somewhere relaxed and reassuring for babies, children and parents, where practitioners are available to help navigate the sometimes difficult issues encountered during a child’s early years.

If your child experiences any issue that may benefit from seeing one of our practitioners, maybe now is the perfect time to take action. Be it a hearing test, tongue tie assessment, speech and language assessment or something else, get in touch.

Frank Kelleher Paediatric Osteopath.

Frank Kelleher is a 1997 graduate of the London School of Osteopathy. He has over 25 years experience in the Health Sector, 20 of those as an Osteopath.

Caroline O Connor Paediatric Dietitian

Caroline is a registered dietitian for over 15 years, in both the public and private sectors, in clinical practice and in health promotion. She offers parents one to one feeding consultations for their babies and children of all ages.

Sinead Moynihan Occupational Therapist

Sinead Moynihan is an Occupational Therapist and a Specialist Yoga teacher. No diagnosis is too complex. Sinead’s area of expertise is Autism and sensory processing difficulties.

Dr Clara O Byrne Chartered Psychologist

Clara is a chartered psychologist with and expertise in the areas of education and psychology. She has a particular interest in how young people manage and experience SEN diagnosis.

Edel Fleming Speech and Language Therapist

Edel is a speech and language therapist with fourteen years of experience spanning a career in Ireland, the UK and Australia. She holds a post graduate diploma in speech and language therapy from City University, London and a professional expertise in a range of settings including community health, disability, education and most recently, private practice.

Michael Power Audiologist

Michael, a Cork native and Clinical Audiologist, is a graduate of the School of Audiology, Institute of Laryngology and Otology, Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, Gray’s Inn Rd, London and University College London Medical School in 2000. Michael has previously worked as  Senior Paediatric Audiologist in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

Deirdre O Leary Tongue Tie Cork

Deirdre is a midwife who treats tongue tie in babies. Throughout her years as a midwife, Deirdre has come into contact with many babies with tongue ties, and with mums having difficulties breastfeeding. She has more than 11 years’ experience in breastfeeding support and became a fully qualified IBCLC lactation consultant in June 2019.
